Geoff Collins And The American Connection
Geoff Collins and his family have had a long association with Australian Greyhound racing, having been involved for over 40 years. They have had considerable success racing greyhounds, with Geoff's parents winning a Melbourne Cup in 1977 with their dog MILE POST.
Geoff was Australiašs third leading owner in 2002, a year in which his sensational all distance bitch ISA BROWN won a Group 1 Australian Cup, a Group 2
Cranbourne Cup and AWM Distance Final. He also raced Cannington 700m Track Record holder and Group 2 Galaxy winner WINTER and Australian Cup finalist BEEN COOLER.
Geoff has always had a fascination with breeding and learned the stud business
by working with Phil Pryor at Hillview stud farm which at the time was standing CRY HAVOC and the immortal HEAD HONCHO.
Geoff currently runs Wattle Tree Park stud farm, a GRV approved Frozen Semen
collection and storage facility and was the first Australian studmaster to
attend the Camelot Farms Frozen Semen Course in Texas in 1998. Wattle Tree Park has been one of Australiašs pioneers in importing Frozen Semen from America.

Paul Horig is one of Queenslandšs more prominent owners having raced many
sensational gallopers including Lawnton $100,000 winner RUN RAMPANT, 1990 Queensland Greyhound Of The Year
COOL MARVEL, 1992 Queensland Greyhound Of The Year ELUSIVE ODIE and New South Wales 1995 National Futurity
winner TAR DIN.
Paul has extensive ties with Ireland and has made an annual pilgrimage to
Clonmel for the coursing every year for the last 15 years. He is highly respected there and negotiated the sale and exportation of top Australia dogs ROANOKEE and SMOOTH RUMBLE to leading Irish owner Pat Dalton and has been involved in Frozen Semen importation since itšs infancy in 1989.

Stud to import Frozen Semen from dogs the calibre of SPIRAL NIKITA, COOL PERFORMANCE and MOBHI GAMBLE.
