Welcome to the World Class Sires website.
World Class Sires has been established by Geoff Collins and Paul Horig to allow Australian breeders easy access to the world's best bloodlines. The success of Australian bred stud dogs overseas has been nothing short of phenomenal and there is no reason to doubt that the reverse to this will be any less successful.
Geoff and Paul have many years experience in the Australian greyhound industry and are passionate in their desire to help improve all facets of the industry. Couple this with Geoff's American connection and Paul's Irish connection it is plain to see the activities of World Class Sires will be a boon to the Australian greyhound breeder.
Geoff and Paul's support of the Australian Greyhound industry can be seen in their sponsorship of the World Class Sires Stakes which had its inaugural running on the night of the 2004 Topgun.

World Class Sires have supplied Australian breeders with the two leading imported
sires in 2007 with Independent figures showing Spiral Nikita and Gable Lafourche to be running
first and second on the Australian National sires standings.
Up until early July, Spiral Nikita has produced 161 winners while Gable Lafourche has
produced 140 and the next closest imported sire is recently deceased Southern Champ on 114. Spiral Nikita is also the highest
placed imported sire of city winners and rates in the top 20 on the city winning sires list.
The latter half of 2007 is shaping up as a very exciting time for us as it will see the first progeny of some of our
young guns hit the tracks, with first starters by Kiowa Sweet Trey,
EA’s Itzaboy and WW Apple Jax due to race.
We have another year to go before the progeny of our Irish sprinting sensation Digital commence their careers with his oldest Australian stock whelped in September 2006 but we expect big things from this outstanding young son of Larkhill Jo.
The current crop of imported sires have accounted for approximately 5% of all winners in Australia, which is on par for their litter numbers, as they have produced around the same percentage of pups born in Australia.
We have been out of stock of frozen semen to America’s leading sire Kiowa Sweet Trey for some time but that is about to change with a shipment due into Australia next month. Not only are we replenishing supplies of the US superstar but this shipment will also see the arrival of FS to 2006 All American,
Dragon Fire.
Dragon Fire was a superstar at Bluff’s Run and has a pedigree to match, being a son of our own Brett Lee, from a daughter of former #1
sire Molotov, who is out of a 1/2 sister to Flying Penske.
